Old half-century apple trees literally drown in a sea of plants. Here, as in a tropical jungle, dense greenery rages and flowers bloom, replacing each other. And, as in a quiet, cozy oasis, harmony and security are felt.
“In the country, I rest from everything that has accumulated over the week. I come here and just enjoy it. This is my outlet for many years ”(Tatyana Fedotova)
“My grandfather began to plant the garden,” says his mistress, Tatyana, “continued my mother, and eventually I too. The house became old, and since my apartment is a 10-minute walk, I don’t live here, I just come here to rest. Earlier on the plot, we, like everyone else, planted potatoes, and there were very few flowers. But, when I was on maternity leave, suddenly there was a huge desire to do floriculture. I guess I found a way to get distracted in this way. At first I wanted to plant a lawn in the center of the plot. However, 15 years ago, few could afford such a "luxury", and even lawn grass was not easy to find. When we sowed the lawn, the neighbors looked askance at me, not understanding how to place the sunniest spot on the plot under the grass. But the idea paid off. The lawn gives the impression of a large space and spaciousness.
VLADIMIR CHERRY An old and widespread variety planted many years ago. Over time, the old branches die off and new ones appear. Aromatic plants give a special charm to the garden: lavender, sage, thyme
Around the fruit trees, I began to break flower beds, trying to create floral arrangements. And, before achieving any harmony, I had to transplant many plants from place to place. As soon as spring began and the soil thawed, I began endless transplants. It was a kind of creative process in which I wanted to achieve absolute perfection. I am sure that you need to plant exactly what you like and please the eye. Tastes are different for everyone. For example, I do not like excessive brightness and diversity and try to adhere to a certain color scheme. On my site, three primary colors: blue, yellow and white - my favorite, but there is very little red. It’s more interesting for me to select plants with different texture of leaves (smooth, carved), light or dense green.
TENIS has the oldest hosts for 10 years. During this time, they turned into huge bushes. Ornamental deciduous plants are especially expressive in the evening. When the sun begins to set, shadows and glare appear on the leaves, the green changes colors and takes on a new shape. I like it when flowers grow in large bushes - curtains. Therefore, I try not to touch, divide or plant the plants, but to keep them in groups, giving me the opportunity to grow from year to year. So hosts, astilba, irises, stonecrop, daylilies and many others look more spectacular. Basically, I plant perennials and do not touch them so that new shoots appear every year. Only when plants lose their decorativeness can they be planted and renewed a little. My experience shows that it is not worth planting exotic species. In our strip, they freeze and die. It’s better to choose something that easily survives in our area, especially now that many new hybrids adapted to our climate have been bred. ”
In the garden you always see something new. It changes even during the day
